Amazon Game Studios has taken down the New World servers tonight to deploy several fixes and adjustments related to the recently-introduced 3v3 PvP Arena. The patch will fix an exploit that allowed players to avoid taking damage from the Arena’s Ring of Fire as well as a bug that caused players to inadvertently be kicked out of a match when they tried to open the scoreboard.

The amount of Azoth Salt and PvP XP rewards awarded after a match will also be increased with the patch and the rewards cap will be bumped up to 40 matches. Players will still be able to earn PvP rewards after reaching the cap but they’ll only get 25% of what they would have normally earned. Coins received from Coin Packs via the PvP rewards track will also be increased.

The Blunderbuss, Ice Gauntlet, and Bow should also see their respective abilities fixed once the servers come back online from maintenance. Expected maintenance downtime is two hours so the servers should be back up at around 1:00am PDT on Wednesday, June 1st. You’ll find the full patch notes on the New World official site.
