Nexon Bringing Square Enix's SINoALICE To The West

Nexon announced today that they secured the global publishing rights to the Square Enix developed dark fantasy mobile RPG SINoALICE, which is currently only available in Japan. The game offers a dark retelling of classic fairy tale stories, so expect to see characters like Snow White, Cinderella, The 3 Little Pigs, The Nutcracker, Alice, and more. The game's creative director is Yuko Taro (NieR: Automata), so expect some real crazy things with the game's story and art. From the looks of the gameplay videos I've seen, SINoALICE is a traditional turn based Gacha RPG.

No word on when this game is laucnhing in the West, but Nexon did say they'll announce more details in the coming months. My guess is it launches sometime in mid-2019. Given Square Enix's own push towards mobile games in the West, it's surprising they aren't launching it themselves and are instead working with Nexon.
