No Man’s Sky Tests Prisms Update Fixes And Improvements In Experimental Branch

no mans sky beyond update hello bannerIt’s been nearly a week since Hello Games rolled out the No Man’s Sky Prisms update, drastically improving the visual quality in the sci-fi sandbox game. The update added reflective surfaces, refraction, new particle effects, lighting, weather, rain, and generally made everything a whole lot better to look at.

Of course, every major update comes with its fair share of bugs which the team is currently addressing in the latest patch for the game’s experimental branch. The patch includes several fixes for items and texts incorrectly displaying or not displaying at all, including build menu tutorial hints, mission notifications, and clipping text.

The patch also streamlines the freighter upgrade control menu and improves the photo mode to ensure consistent behavior across different photo mode settings. Popups have also been added to remind players with Nvidia RTX graphics cards to update to the latest drivers to enable DLSS support.

The full patch notes can be found on the No Man’s Sky Steam Community Page.
