It’s been a while since we heard from Hello Games and their sci-fi MMO No Man’s Sky. You might remember No Man’s Sky as that MMO with the missing multiplayer feature. Well, the game is shaping up quite nicely especially since Hello Games remedied the lack of multiplayer last year with a series of updates. But the UK-based studio isn’t stopping there, the team has just revealed their plans to release a three-part major update this summer called BEYOND.

The first part of the update promises to “change the way players come together and offer radical new ways to explore the universe.” The update will introduce a new social and multiplayer experience to the game minus the subscription fees and microtransactions that come with regular MMOs.

Hello Games will be revealing more about the update and the features that will come with it over the next couple of weeks. We’ll let you in on the info as soon as we find out more.

Meanwhile, you can check out the BEYOND announcement trailer below.
