Outriders Free Demo Hits 55K Peak Concurrency On Steam

As far as demos go, Outriders seems to be doing quite well. According to SteamCharts, the game peaked at over 36,000 concurrent players within a few hours of launching on Steam. SteamDB logged significantly more players during the same time frame, with an all-time peak concurrency of 55,271.

Player numbers, however, are steadily on the decline which can probably be attributed to the fact that the demo only offers three hours of gameplay. As of this writing, around 15,000 players are currently playing the demo which is still higher than some other games on the platform.

The demo numbers aren’t necessarily an indication of how the actual game will fair when it launches on April 1, but it does show that players have considerable interest in the upcoming shooter.
