Outriders Officially Launches On All Platforms, Stadia, And Xbox Game Pass
Outriders, Square Enix and People Can Fly’s highly-awaited multiplayer third-person shooter, has officially launched on all platforms including Google Stadia. The game is also available as part of an Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, which means that subscribers can play the game without buying a copy as long as they’re subscribed to the service. In light of this, players who preordered the game on Xbox will be able to request for a refund here.
Interested players can also try the permanent demo if they want to take the game for a spin before buying the game or subscribing to Xbox’ streaming service. All progress from the demo will automatically carry over to the full game. Progress from the Xbox One will also transfer to the Xbox Series X|S and vice versa but not to other platforms.
The team reminds players who pre-ordered the game to check their personal stash for the Hell’s Ranger bonus equipment. Players who spent a lot of time playing the demo are also advised to check their stash for loot that might have been auto-sent when their inventories were full.
Like most online game launches, Outriders’ official launch had its fair share of connectivity and matchmaking issues as well as cross-play disconnects, blurry visuals, and frame rate stuttering among others. The developers are aware of these problems and have compiled a list of known issues and workarounds along with helpful links that players can use if they encounter any problems.
Meanwhile, the official launch trailer is waiting for you below.
