Overwatch's Next Hero Is The Robotic Tank Orisa

Overwatch's newest hero is the four-legged robot Orisa, who is a tank that wields a fusion-based gun. As expected, Orisa was developed by 11 year old inventor Efi Oladele, who Blizzard revealed in a faux interview last week. After Doomfist attacked Numbani airprot, young Efi re-developed the OR-15 robots into a formidable tank to protect the city—which you can watch in the video below.

Orisa serves as the central anchor of her team, and defends her teammates from the frontline with a protective barrier. She can attack from long range, fortify her own defenses, launch graviton charges to slow and move enemies, and deploy a Supercharger to boost the damage output of multiple allies at once.

Orisa is designed to be another Tank option, mitigating team composition dependency on Reinhardt. Her primary weapon, the Fusion Driver, is a "projectile based machine gun," and as she fires it Orisa will move slower. The secondary fire sends out a pulse, which will draw targets within its range to a single position: a mini-Zarya ultimate.

The robotic tank can also Fortify herself, temporarily making her immune to Crowd Control. She can also lay down a Protective Barrier—similar to Reinhardt's barrier shield—which will protect her and allies. And then there's her ultimate, Supercharger: powering up her allies abilities.

You can play Orisa right now on the Public Test Realm. If you have a chance to try her out let us know what you think!
