Cities: Skyline developer and publisher Paradox Interactive is looking for volunteers to beta test a new game on the condition that you’ll only find out what the game is once you’ve been selected and signed an NDA.

“We will be running a beta test in the very near future and need people to help us!” reads the signup form. “We cannot give the name of the game at the moment until an agreement and NDA has been signed. The purpose of this particular beta test, however, is to stress test the online capabilities of the game and to gather player feedback on this test.”

While it would be easy to assume that the beta test will be for the Victoria 3, Paradox’s long-awaited addition to the 19th century strategy franchise, that might not be the case. The beta test is being run by the studio’s new publishing arm, Paradox Arc, which was established to handle smaller indie games like Across the Obelisk, a co-op deckbuilding roguelite RPG that recently made the jump from early access to full release on Steam earlier this month.

If you do sign-up and get accepted, be warned that the studio will be taking the NDA seriously and will be assigning a unique single-use code for each tester. The beta test is scheduled to run for one week starting on September 5th. In the meantime, you can check out gameplay footage of Victoria 3 in Paradox Interactive’s official gameplay reveal stream below.
