The 5-minute gameplay video showcases the dark and gloomy New Harbor zone as the character traverses through the harbor’s wooden piers and paved walkways and into the surrounding forests and wetlands on a quest to kill the newly-risen undead in a nearby cemetery.

The video gives viewers a glimpse of the game’s quest system, bow and sword combat, undead enemies, the first miniboss, as well as the game’s flora and fauna, and environmental effects.

“We are working to bring this update to our closed alpha players as fast as possible, as well as having our third open alpha,” said the devs. “We will be adding new custom weapons, enemies, and armor, increasing the size of the world by adding more areas, hunts, and dungeons. Instanced and open PvP will be added along with the second faction.”

Past Fate is an indie medieval open-world MMORPG that managed to raise just a little over $25,000 on Kickstarter last summer, hitting their funding goal with just two hours left in the campaign. The game is scheduled to launch sometime in 2022. You can check out the new gameplay video below for a glimpse of what the game has to offer.
