Mainframe Industries isn’t ready to let you know when the next Pax Dei alpha test will be, but it’s more than happy to show off some of the dungeons that they’ve been working on. The second alpha test is expected sometime in the first quarter of this year, and with March quickly coming to a close, the community is eager to know whether the studio will be able to make good on its promise.

“We know you’re all excited for updates on the upcoming test,” the studio wrote on Discord. “While we can’t provide details just yet, we'll have more to share with you real soon.”

Meanwhile, the team is offering fans a glimpse of several dungeon entrances that have been reworked to make them more “inviting.” Based on the new screenshots, foreboding may be a better term now that the creepy crypts and caves look even creepier.

“The natural cave sections of some of the deep cultist dungeons have also had a pass to better represent the dark practices they host, but they are better left unspoken of,” teased the devs. You can check out the upcoming social sandbox MMO’s newly reworked dungeon entrances in the Twitter post below.
