Phantasy Star Online 2 Launching on Nintendo Switch in Japan

Sega announced today that their hit action MMORPG Phantasy Star Online 2 will be launching on Nintendo Switch in Japan. As-is the game is available on PC, Playstation Vita, and PS4. As with other platforms, the Switch version of the game will be free to play. Despite the wide availability of the game in Japan, there's still been zero word on an English release since Sega first announced the game for Western audiences over 5 years ago. Anyone still looking to play PSO2 should check out our handy dandy How to Play PSO2 Guide in English Guide.

Phantasy Star Online 2 will likely be one of many new free to play games that launch on the platform. Tencent already announced that Arena of Valor (Honor of Kings in China) will be available on the platform as well.

I don't get what's the big fuss about this game. I tried the SEA version a few years ago, it's a mediocre weeb MMO, nothing to it. Outdated boring combat, maps look like coridoors or pipes, really pathetic.
