PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS' second Alpha test has come to a close, which means that it's time for a wrap up. Bluehole has provided those following the game with quite a bit of information from the test, including what worked, what didn't, how many people took part in the test, the infographic and wrap up video embedded below, and even how many users signed up for the forums. It's a fairly thorough report that's worth going over if you've been following the game.

The next round of testing will be Closed Beta, which is expected to begin sometime in February. Unfortunately, we don't have a more concrete date yet, but Bluehole has announced several of its goals for Closed Beta testing. The company wants to "deliver enhanced realism for our action and gunplay" and "[introduce] more detailed tuning to the game." Work towards reaching these goals has already begun and it is noted that the team has "implemented many new features reflecting the feedback [it] received during [its] last alpha test."

Additionally, the experimental DUOS mode that includes a revive feature will be making a return in Closed Beta. The revive feature was introduced in "a very basic state" during Alpha 2 and Bluehole wants to provide "a more polished DUOS mode for the next round of testing."

You can find the full Alpha 2 wrap up here.
