PUBG Tweaks Vikendi Weapon Spawns, Introduces New Gun, Attachment, & Vehicle

It’s roughly been a month since the new Vikendi map rolled out in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and the devs are looking to improve player experience with the latest update. The update mainly focuses on addressing player feedback on the newly released map.

Loot distribution throughout Vikendi has been tweaked to balance things out especially when it comes to SMGs. The spawn rates for the Tommy Gun have been dropped down to 52% and the spawn rates for the DMR down to 16% while the AR spawn rates have been increased to 20%.

Aside from balance changes, the update also brings with it a new weapon, a new attachment, and a new vehicle. The Bizon SMG will now spawn on the Vikendi and Erangel maps. The Bizon is a 53-round 9mm SMG fitted with muzzle and sight attachments. The new Canted Sight attachment will now allow players to quickly switch from a long-range scope to a close range red dot sight. The Canted Sight attachment is available for all weapons with a secondary scope slot. And finally, the update introduces the Snowbike for the Vikendi map. The Snowbike is the more agile cousin of the snowmobile and will replace the motorcycle on Vikendi.
