Ragnarok Online Classic Progression Server In The Works

Ragnarok Online will be launching a progression server in the near future which takes players back in time to 2003 and gives players a chance to experience the game as it was then. Like any progression server new content will be rolled out regularly; in this case monthly. The progression server will be called Ragnarok RE:START and will be releasing soon (no word on an exact date just yet).

Progression servers seem to be getting more and more popular, especially amongst older MMORPGs. EverQuest launched several progression servers already and they've been tremendously successful. I expect other MMOs to jump on the whole progression server bandwagon in the future.
