Realm Adventure League Takes Fantasy League Management To Kickstarter

V2Leagues' Realm Adventure League is a different kind of fantasy league. V2Leagues boast that their system is "a new type of online game experience that combines a living breathing 'Artificial Intelligence (AI) Virtual World' with 'Virtual Player Leagues'," but it is also different in another way. It is a league management simulation that allows you to draft fantasy heroes that take on quests and compete for better scores. You will be required to draft a well-balanced team using familiar classes—like Warrior or Healer—and compete in leagues to see who has drafted the better team. You can think of it a bit like drafting a World of Warcraft party and then competing against other World of Warcraft parties.

The team at V2Leagues has taken to Kickstarter to get the funding necessary to complete the game. At the time of this writing, they are sitting at $7,391 out of a $20,000 goal with 46 days left and it seems as if they will make it. Access to a later phase of closed beta can be obtained for a mere $10, along with some other goodies. The soonest you can get into the game is with Citizen Group 1 during Alpha for $125.
