Red Stone Switching Publishers From Game&Game to L&K

Free to play 2D MMORPG Red Stone is switching publishers from Game&Game to L&K Logic. This is a logical move (pun intended), as L&K is the game's developer. Game&Game's publishing contract is ending later this month and players can begin transferring their accounts over to L&K starting today, December 14th, 2017. To celebrate the transfer of service, L&K is holding a "burning potato event" which is an oddball name for a double XP and gold event. Despite transfers being open starting today, I couldn't find the "transfer page". Perhaps it'll be up soon.

Despite Red Stone's age (the game launched in 2003), the game still gets updated regularly. In fact the game has a bunch of updates scheduled for 2018 including 2 new jobs the Maid and Beastman as well as a new pet system. New maps, pvP systems, weapons, and other goodies are also set to release next year.

More interestingly though, L&K Logic released some interesting historical data for Red Stone. Apparently the game peaked in 2005 after reaching 40,000 concurrent users. It was also earning $2.7 million USD per month during that time period. The game today isn't anywhere near as popular today as it was then, but it's still interesting to see that the game is still in service.
