Reign Of Guilds Early Access Launch Delayed Due To Steam Description Moderation Issues

Reign of Guilds brings bad tidings after it failed to show up for its Early Access appointment last week. The old-school MMORPG was supposed to launch on March 10 but has been tentatively pushed back to March 28 due to issues with Steam’s approval process.

“The launch of the early access […] is being postponed due to the moderation process of the game description in the “Early Access” section on the Steam platform,” indie developer Atlant Games announced on Discord. “[We] will confirm the final release date for early access only after the “Publish” button becomes available to us on Steam to prevent such a situation from happening again.”

The studio didn’t elaborate on what was wrong with the game description but it did assure fans that the game itself has already been approved. In any case, it appears as if the launch timing is now out of their hands and the ball is now solidly in Valve’s court. Unfortunately, that means that Reign of Guilds will no longer be included in Steam’s annual Spring Sale which is set to begin on March 23.
