Respawn Restores Progress Of 'Wiped' Apex Legends Accounts
There’s probably nothing more horrifying for an MMO player than logging into the game only to find out that their account has been wiped. All progression, everything you’ve worked hard for, all the fruits of those sleepless nights gone in an instant. That’s exactly what happened to a large number of Apex Legends today after Respawn Entertainment rolled out a small patch yesterday.
Respawn promptly responded to what I can imagine is a flood of angry emails and posts with a Twitter post urging affected players to stay put while they look into the problem.
We are aware and looking into the issue with accounts losing their progress after the update today. Will provide update ASAP.

The good news is that the issue has been resolved. According to Respawn, some characters were apparently transferred to a wrong server making it look as if their accounts were wiped. Everything’s now back to normal and all progress leading up to the update has been restored. Whew. Thanks Respawn!
Fix is now live on all platforms and your progression up to the time Patch 1.1 went live is safe and sound and been restored. More details here: https://t.co/yZZzIaZBBi
