RIFT: Starfall Prophecy Open Beta Begins October 13th
Trion Worlds announced today that RIFT's latest expansion, Starfall Prophecy, will be entering Open Beta on October 13th. While not specified, as RIFT's first paid expansion since it went free-to-play, it is likely that you will have to own Starfall Prophecy in order to take part.
Starfall Prophecy's key features are as follows.
- Explore 5 new Zones, including: Scatherran Forrest, Gedlo Badlands, Xarth Mire, Ashenfell, and the Tenebrian Schism
- Battle your way through 2 challenging dungeons: Temple of Ananke and Tuath’de Coven
- Grow stronger through the all new Systems: Legendary Powers and Planar Fragments
- Invade the Planes themselves, with Planar Assault Adventures!
Details about several more features, such as "Fortress Sieges, Eternal Items, Active Upgrades and Individual Rewards," will be unveiled in the near future. Additionally, a preview of the Ashenfell zone, "an environ of scorched rock and flame, with lakes and rivers of lava flowing hotly through forests of magma spouts," was published yesterday.
