Riot Games has finally release a second game, and it's unexpected. They've unveiled a tabletop game, featuring characters from League of Legends, titled Mechs vs. Minions: a physical game to be played between 2-4 friends.

Mechs vs. Minions features programmable movement and a story driven campaign played on modular boards. Players will work together to navigate their mechs and complete missions.

It's pretty exciting because Mechs vs. Minions finally puts the "s" in "Riot Games." We knew Riot was working on something, just not what that something was. We've speculated it was a fighting game, a card game, a connect-3 featuring League heroes mobile game. But no one suspected a tabletop game.

Mechs vs. Minions releases on October 13, 2016 and will retails for $75. Head to the Mechs vs. Minions website to learn more.
