Sci-Fi MOBA The Day Online Enters Closed Beta In Korea

A new third person MOBA with a sci-fi setting called The Day Online has entered closed beta testing in its home market of Korea. Players from across the world can join the beta test, but will need a Korean ID in order to create an account.

The Day Online is developed by Reloaded Studios and looks far more action packed than a traditional MOBA. There are a variety of character types to chose from, and the game seems to have the standard MOBA elements of creeps and towers to take down.

The MOBA genre hasn't seen much successful innovation since Smite, so I am hoping The Day Online eventually makes it to the West. The tepid response to Nexon's Hyper Universe doesn't bode well, but time will tell!

The servers are only live from 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM KST, and there is an official Discord channel available to discuss the beta. Perhaps prospective Western players may find a helpful Korean player willing to share accounts with them in there!
