Sea of Thieves Cross-Platform Play Already in the Works

Rare has just announced this week, that their upcoming swashbuckling shared-world MMO Sea of Thieves will be seeing cross-platform play between Xbox One and PC players.

Not only that, it turns out that Rare has been sneaking their own PC players into the Xbox playtest for some cross-platform interaction and testing. The devs are happy to report that cross-platform play so far has went swimmingly well, with the other Xbox testers being none the wiser about the PC master race being in their midst.

Sea of Thieves will be releasing for both Xbox and PC sometime in early 2018. Watch the developer update below to see the latest gameplay and features coming to the game!
