Shared World Fantasy/Sci-fi Mobile RPG Tower of Fantasy Officially Launches

Tower of Fantasy, a fantasy/sci-fi mobile RPG developed by Perfect World, officially launches today globally. While we get new mobile RPGs everyday, Tower of Fantasy looks a bit higher quality than the typical mobile RPG and has been spending heavily on marketing. The game's production value also looks quite good and actually reminds me a bit of Genshin Impact. While Tower of Fantasy is definitely a mobile game, it does have a PC client as well (which must include HD textures as its 25gb in size!)

Tower of Fantasy is available on mobile devices and PC with cross-platform play. This is the first major Perfect World developed game released globally in some time. When Perfect World sold their North American business to Embracer late last year, it seemed like they were totally exiting the market, but Tower of Fantasy shows that they're still willing to do global releases, at least for their mobile games.

I plan on checking this one out only because the production value looks solid. I normally would have written this game off as Chinese nonsense, but Genshin Impact has proven that Chinese developers can make extraordinary games that can and do appeal to Western taste.
