Ubisoft has announced another launch date for Skull and Bones at The Game Awards 2023. As rumored, the seemingly perpetually delayed pirate MMORPG is now scheduled to launch on February 16, 2024.

Skull and Bones has now been delayed seven times since it was first unveiled at E3 2017 and the hype has all but died down, especially following the lackluster gameplay trailers that Ubisoft released over the past few months. The studio is hoping to reignite the hype with the release of a brand-new trailer with a supernatural vibe at The Game Awards and the promise of a closed beta test set for December 15-18.

Whether loyal fans are in for another big disappointment remains to be seen. In the meantime, you can check out the new trailer below along with the follow-up gameplay deep dive trailer that the studio dropped after the show.
