Skyforge Rolls Out Overgrowth Expansion, Celebrates Anniversary With ‘Aelion Day’ Event
Nature is a powerful force capable of wiping out entire civilizations in the blink of an eye, a force that the new Grovewalker class uses to devastating effect in the latest Skyforge expansion – Overgrowth.
“The Grovewalkers are born protectors. They derive their power from nature itself, easily calling on its forces. Powerful roots twine around enemies, and seeds dropped into the soil grow into carnivorous plants. The Grovewalkers easily change their own body.
Their phytoform is extremely powerful and tenacious, allowing the Grovewalker to feel comfortable even in the heat of battle, knocking enemies away with sweeping strikes, and their ether form lets them shake off control effects.”
The expansion also introduces the new challenge system. Players will now be rewarded with special titles for completing certain achievements. The system works retroactively so you might have already earned a few titles worth showing off.
Also, player who have already unlocked their divine form can now choose from three Adventure difficulty levels: Warm-Up, Challenge, and Nightmare. “Lately, we have heard complaints from players with high Prestige about issues related to rewards for adventures,” says My.Com. “We weren't pleased about that development. That's why we decided to change the mechanics of adventure difficulty, making it more flexible and convenient.”
Skyforge is also celebrating their anniversary with a three-week long event for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 4 called Aelion Day. From today until May 2nd, players will have access to unique quests, relics, decorations, and missions.
“Upon logging on Skyforge, you will receive a special tablet outlying unique quests. The maximum number of tablets a player can receive is 9, and players have 21 days to obtain and finish all 9 tablets. Successfully completing every tablet in the series will award players with a unique opportunity to find Elia's symbol and retrieve an exclusive item!”
