Skyforge’s Annual Aelion Day Anniversary Event Is Now Live With New Rewards
Sci-fi fantasy MMORPG Skyforge has kicked off its annual anniversary festivities with exclusive rewards up for grabs for the gods of Aelion. As with previous Aelion Day events, players will receive prophecies for saving mortals which they can then fulfill to earn special event currency which can then be turned in for various rewards, including a new costume, cape, and jewelry.
“You must be used to rescuing mortals by now, but during the celebrations, they say that each mortal rescued increases your chances of receiving a prophecy — an item that contains a mysterious message. Decipher the message and fulfill the conditions it sets, and you will receive Threads of Destiny, which can be exchanged for goods in the Market. Some new goods to keep an eye out for are a new costume, fireworks, cape and jewelry. Among the holiday goods you'll also find rewards from previous holidays: anniversary costumes, mount, stylish holiday masks, and more!”
Prophecies come in three tiers: Normal, Great, and Special. Each succeeding tier is rarer and more difficult to complete than the last but offers better rewards. Players may hold up to three prophecies at a time which can be sold to create space for new ones if they prove to be too challenging. They’ll also get one free Special Prophecy as a daily login bonus while the event is active.
Aelion Day runs until April 26th on PC and April 27th on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Note that Switch players will be able to unlock all available rewards except for the new ones that were added for this year’s event. But, they will be getting the Heart of Steel update later this month with a new 5-player Adventure and new PvP content, so there’s that.
