SMITE Kicks Off G.I. Joe Crossover Event And Welcomes Ix Chel To The Battlefield

Hold on to your helmets, folks! The gods of SMITE are about to enter the battlefield with some unexpected guests - G.I. Joe! Get ready to see Duke, the Baroness, and Cobra Commander go head-to-head with the third-person MOBA's mythical deities (sorry, Destro didn't make the cut). And if you're a Prime Gaming subscriber, you might even score some free G.I. Joe cosmetics to spruce up your characters.

But that's not all - a new hero has also joined the fray. Meet Ix Chel, a.k.a. The Light Weaver, who uses her powers of light and rainbows to heal allies and vanquish foes. Talk about bringing some serious color to the battlefield!

However, not all updates are sunny side up. The latest patch has walked back some of the XP gains introduced in the previous update, and penetration percentage has taken a significant hit to balance out the late-game burst DPS and anti-tank stats.
