Hawaiian Hero Maui Arrives In SMITE Alongside The Reaping Halloween Event
The mischievous Polynesian demigod, Maui, has officially made his SMITE debut as the third-person MOBA’s newest melee guardian. Maui, a.k.a. the Hero of Hawaii, specializes in crowd control and is able to pull in enemies or stun them using his magical hook, buff allies using magical seawater, or pull up an island to knock enemies into the air and block their paths.
The Hawaiian hero’s arrival also marks the start of SMITE’s annual The Reaping Halloween event. “The Reaping has returned once again, bringing fantastical frights to all who dare step foot on the Battleground of the Gods! There are sales, events, and plenty of new skins that you can enjoy through November 1st,” Hi-Rez announced.
Players who purchase event skins or roll the Halloween Chest during The Reaping will be rewarded with Pumpkins that can be exchanged for the Dark Magic Aphrodite Skin (3 Pumpkins) or the Toony Terror Scylla Skin (6 Pumpkins). The full event details can be found here.
