Snail Games Gives Us Our First Look At PixARK

While we've technically seen two screenshots of PixARK already, Snail Games released a new set of screenshots that give us our first real look at the game earlier today. The new screenshots show off the game's character models, as well as the first-person point of view.

The announcement that also touts some of the game's features, including various Unreal Engine 4-powered graphics effects, a "strange and diverse vegetation system," a system where players can freely build anything anywhere, and more. The game also features "random vegetation ecology, random wild species, [and] random mystery relics." It is said that some of these features are meant to promote exploration.

PixARK's core gameplay, however, is much like that of Minecraft. You collect resources, create tools, and construct housing while exploring the world.

You can find the full announcement on the official website. I've embedded the screenshots that were included in the announcement below. Unfortunately, Snail Games has not yet released any gameplay videos.
