SNK Announces Mobile MMORPG The King Of Fighters World

It seems that Areal isn't the only mobile MMORPG on the horizon that will make use of The King of Fighters IP. MMOCulture has uncovered a newly-announced game from SNK and Ledo Interactive called "The King of Fighters World." You may remember that Ledo is the developer of Areal, as well, so it makes sense that SNK would be working with it on a second mobile MMORPG using its IP. Technically, the game is referred to as a "Persistent Online RPG," but it seems fair to assume that that means that it is an MMORPG.

Very little is known about The King of Fighters World as of yet. It will be launched in China first, due to developer Ledo Interactive being based in China, but no gameplay details have been revealed as of yet. We will be sure to keep you informed as more information becomes available.
