Solo-Friendly Lineage 2 Aden Officially Launches On August 11

Lineage 2 is getting yet another version with the release of Lineage 2 Aden next month. In addition to the regular game and Lineage 2 Classic, Aden brings the fantasy MMORPG’s live versions up to three. The new version is designed specifically with solo players in mind, with rulesets that will make it easier to reach max level without having to group up with other players.

“Waiting around for a party to level or grind is a thing of the past in Lineage II Aden. All 36 classes are tuned to be self-sufficient while hunting, and Lineage II Aden will have six new solo dungeons at launch. Lineage II Aden also features a simplified leveling system, making it easier on players to reach max level.”

To give players an additional boost, Aden will also feature the Magic Lamp system that, once filled, rewards players with bonus XP and Skill Points. The lamp automatically fills up when players are engaged in combat or other in-game activities.

In addition to a more solo-friendly progression system, players will also have access to a combat pet system and two new classes.

“Harness dark energy with the Death Knight or play as a quick and cunning hunter with the Storm Blaster, two new classes premiering on Aden.”

Lineage 2 Aden comes out on August 11 and will be free-to-play on PC. Launch Packs containing a variety of useful consumables are available on the official site starting at $10 for the Light Pack, $25 for the Standard Pack, and $35 for the Deluxe Pack which comes with the exclusive Ring of Cadmus accessory, the Black Strider mount, and a Wizard Hat.
