Sonorous Narrator Details Revelation Online's World In New Trailer
Revelation Online is giving out a free tour of its world Nuanor in a new video, featuring a sonorous tour guide. The Empire is vast and diverse, from the spiritual North to the fiery South, and littered with pockets of civilization NPCs in Revelation Online congregate in 10 provinces and three "great" cities, each with their own culture. I respect the cohesion NetEast is creating.
It's interesting to see so much hype surrounding NetEase's MMORPG—perhaps thanks to its aesthetic comparisons to Blade and Soul. A Chinese MMORPG may be the next big thing; that's not something we get to report often.
Revelation Online features martial-arts inspired combat through six classes, and four social jobs—"a [Templar's] got to eat." The game stresses PvP between guilds for control of castles, where they'll hang their banners for all to grow jealous.
Besides its art style, the most attractive feature of Revelation may be the permanent set of wings players earn and can use to freely travel across the game's world, similar to Aion but infinite flight.
