According to the newly-revamped homepage of Soul Worker's Korean website, the Korean version of Lion Games' highly anticipated MMORPG/brawler hybrid will begin accepting Closed Beta sign-ups on December 1st. There is a nice countdown available on the website and those interested can also sign up to be texted notifications about the upcoming Closed Beta.

While it's not exactly the news we were all hoping for, it may yet provide a spark of hope for those still waiting for news about Soul Worker's Western release. Despite being made by a Korean company, it has taken until now for Soul Worker to show any sign of actually being released outside of Japan. Perhaps the Korean release signals an imminent push to release the game in the greater global market. Smilegate is publishing the game in both South Korea and Southeast Asia, so there may be a chance that, at the very least, an English release may not be far behind the Korean release.
