Star Trek Online Announces New Stormfall Chapter Starring Kate Mulgrew
Star Trek Online players will boldly go where no one has literally gone before as Cryptic Studios expands the Mirror Universe with a new chapter called Stormfall. The chapter will feature notable characters from different Star Trek shows including Captain Killy (Mary Wiseman), Rae-Yeet (Noah Averback-Katz), Admiral Leeta (Chase Masterson), and Admiral Janeway (Kate Mulgrew).
“In the final few moments of the last episode, “Red Shift,” players discovered that the individual they had been searching for is actually Lieutenant Ilia from Star Trek: The Motion Picture. In Stormfall, Captains will receive orders from Admiral Janeway (voiced by Kate Mulgrew from Star Trek: Voyager) to embark on a mission to rescue the captured Deltan Starfleet Officer from a Terran Space Dock. Ilia tells players she needs their help in preventing the Terran Empire from summoning a powerful nemesis.”
The events will take place over two brand new episodes for the classic sci-fi MMORPG. Stormfall will also introduce a new five-player Task Force Operation and will kick off a special event that will allow players to earn a reward for playing through the game’s latest content.
Meanwhile, the team is currently working on revamping the new player experience for the Starfleet faction. The remastered tutorial aims to provide aspiring Captains with a smoother experience and will feature more interaction with Admiral Janeway and the Borg and new environments to explore.
Details on the new tutorial will be revealed alongside Stormfall’s PC release on May 10th. The new chapter will be headed to consoles sometime in June. Check out the
