Star Trek Online’s Both Worlds Update Launches On PC With A New Episode And TFO

Star Trek Online kicks off its 31st season and introduces a brand-new episode as its Both Worlds update officially lands on PC. The new star-studded episode, dubbed Scorpion’s Abyss, follows the events from last season and will task players with infiltrating the Mirror Borg complex to repair the Reality Vortex and face off against the Borg King himself.

“This episode includes Star Trek series original cast members reprising their roles as characters in the game, including Nicole de Boer returning as Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’s Ezri Dax, Garret Wang as Captain Harry Kim from Star Trek: Voyager, and Kipleigh Brown as Captain Kuumaarke from Star Trek: Enterprise.”

Both Worlds also features a new Task Force Operation where players will get to relive Star Trek: The Next Generation’s Battle of Wolf 359. It also marks the start of a new in-game event called King and Collective and introduces the Random Elite TFO group finder.

The update is exclusively available on PC at the moment and will unfortunately be arriving on consoles on March 12. Yikes!
