Tens of millions of users logged-in to Steam over the past weekend, peaking at just over 33 million concurrent users early Sunday morning. The popular video game platform also logged over 10 million in-game users at its peak, according to data from SteamDB.

This weekend’s numbers shattered both Steam’s previous 24-hour concurrency record of 30 million users back in March 2022 and its in-game concurrency record. It’s worth noting that the 33 million users weren’t necessarily actively using the platform and that most were probably automatically logged-in as soon as the booted up their PCs. Still, it’s a huge testament to the digital storefront’s growing popularity which has seen its userbase grow by leaps and bounds over the past 20 years.
