Tencent continues to rework and tweak Tarisland as the studio prepares for the WoW-like fantasy MMORPG’s next beta test.

According to the studio’s latest developer blog, they’ve recently removed some secondary attribute types for characters to improve the overall PvE experience. To account for the nerf, they’ve also made sweeping adjustments to PvE content. These adjustments included nerfs to boss attack damage, skill damage, and HP across the board along with improved tank survivability.

Testers can also look forward to a random matchmaking feature for dungeons, updated loot drop rules for both dungeons and raids, a long list of class tweaks, PvE achievements, and a new noob-friendly difficulty level for raids.

“In the last playtest, players could choose from only two difficulty levels when challenging a raid,” Tencent explained. “Recognizing that new players and first-time raid challengers might find both levels difficult, we will introduce a level of easier difficulty in the upcoming playtest.”

Tencent hasn’t locked in a date for the next beta test, but it’s expected sometime in November. Head over to the Tarisland official site for more info.
