TERA Is Shutting Down In China

According to MMOCulture, Bluehole Studio and Kunlun Games have announced that TERA will be shutting down in China on August 18th. At the time of the announcement, the publishing contract was only halfway up.

It is suggested that a large part of the shut down can be attributed to Kunlun Games' lack of advertising, rather than anything wrong with the game or the version of the game published in China. However, there is no word on whether the game will be relaunching with a different publisher at this time.
