The Annual Steam Autumn Sale Is Now Live
2020 may have thrown a number of unexpected events at us but if there’s one thing we can rely on, it’s the annual Steam seasonal sales. The Autumn Sale is now live just in time for Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday and will run until December 1st at 10am PST.
This year’s Autumn Sale offers incredible discounts on some of the biggest games of 2020 and popular online multiplayer games including PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Monster Hunter World, Doom Eternal, and Destiny 2, among others. New items are also available in the Steam Points Shop such as an Autumn-themed background, animated avatar frames, and a themed profile.
The Autumn Sale also marks the return of the annual Steam Awards. Nominations are now open for the best Steam games in 10 categories:
- Game of the Year
- VR Game of the Year
- Labor of Love
- Better with Friends
- Most Innovative Gameplay
- Outstanding Story-Rich Game
- Best Game You Suck At
- Outstanding Visual Style
And new this year…
- Best Soundtrack
- Best “Sit Back and Relax” Game
Like previous iterations of the event, voting for Steam Awards will take place during the Winter Sale. Exact dates have yet to be announced. More information can be found on the Steam News Hub.
