The Beach Is Back In RuneScape And Cerberus Pets Are Up For Grabs
If you think that being followed around by a three-headed hellhound in RuneScape is the epitome of cool, then you’ll want to keep an eye out for the Cerberus Rush event which will be running from July 23rd through July 27th. During the event, players will have a chance to earn “hellishly cool” prizes including a pet version of Cerberus.
The Lumbridge Crater has also been transformed, once again, into a sandy paradise with the return of The Beach. Make your way over to the crater to participate in fun summer activities such as building sandcastles, rolling beach balls, a coconut shy, and a beach BBQ. Players will be able to earn an additional 10% XP when they participate in a spotlighted event which changes every 15 minutes. The event is now live and will run until August 10th.
This week’s patch also comes with a number of bug fixes and improvements including a new Second Wind achievement and a fix that makes Provoke work consistently with 10 or more players. In addition, Lifepoints are now capped at 32,000 and removing Lifepoint-increasing effects and items while under the effects of a Vitality Powerburst potion will no longer set a character’s Lifepoints to 0.
