The Cycle: Frontier is barely a month into its pre-season but the survival shooter is apparently already having problems with cheaters. Yager Developments rolled out the first game patch over the weekend that should help cut down on cheating although they didn’t really go into detail on what they did exactly.

“We tuned our values in the afternoon and there should be some visible improvements,” said Yager. “It is clearly an ongoing fight, and we can already see large improvements on all fronts compared to our previous betas. We will of course continue to tweak our systems along with new updates.”

The patch also introduces performance improvements and several bug fixes along with a handful of quality-of-life changes. Players can also look forward to more performance tweaks, weapon adjustments, and a reconnect feature in future patches. The friends list, however, has been put in the backburner while the team works to address more pressing issues in the game.

The full patch notes can be found on The Cycle: Frontier official site.
