The Division Is Getting A New Update On April 12th.
Update 1.8.1 is making its way to the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions of The Division on April 12th. The update will feature visual enhancements for the Xbox One X along with two new legendary missions: Amherst’s Apartment and Grand Central Station, and two new global events.
Two brand new Global Events are coming to The Division: Blackout in April and Onslaught in May.
- Global Event Blackout—Agents are equipped with Shock Ammo that stuns enemies. Shooting or running builds your charge meter. The more charge, the more damage you inflict.
- Global Event Onslaught—Agents deal burn, bleed, and gas effects to enemies in addition to normal damage. Reloading changes the effect.
Classified Drop Rates will also be increased in all locations when the patch hits the servers. Players will have a 20% chance to acquire Classified Gear from Legendary Missions, and a 10% chance for Season Pass Supply Drops and Survival Caches.
