The Elder Scrolls Online Greymoor Gets Off To A Rocky Start, Google Stadia Launch Planned On June 16

elder scrolls online greymoor night bannerAs promised, The Elder Scrolls Online Greymoor chapter officially rolled out on PC earlier this week but the highly-awaited chapter’s launch didn’t go as smoothly as ZeniMax and Bethesda had hoped. A bug reportedly gave players who hadn’t purchased Greymoor access to the new chapter while a large number of players who actually bought it were locked out. The servers were down for most of the day as the developers worked to fix the issue only to be taken offline again earlier this morning because of the same problem.

Players also reported a number of issues with the new Antiquities system which included misaligned excavation tiles, colors that made it difficult to choose the right tile, and locked game maps after scrying. Rest assured that the developers are aware of the bugs and are working on a fix. In the meantime, a number of players have already found workarounds such as paying attention to tile outlines and glow intensity and hitting “E” before closing the map after scrying.

In other Elder Scrolls Online news, ZeniMax has just announced that the game, along with the new Greymoor chapter, will be launching on the Google Stadia streaming platform on June 16th exactly a week after Greymoor launches on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
