The Heroes Of Maple Arrive In MapleStory On June 22nd
Nexon announced today that MapleStory's latest major update, Heroes of Maple, will be launching on June 22nd. In Heroes of Maple, "the Black Mage’s commander, Damien, is bent on destroying Maple World for good. Players must chose a hero and combine forces to defeat this great evil in the most epic adventure in MapleStory history."
The update launching on June 22nd is also known as the Reborn update. It is one of three monthly updates that will be headed to MapleStory over the course of this summer. The updates are as follows.
- June - REBORN: Act 1 of the Heroes of Maple storyline will be added to the game and two of the major heroes from MapleStory, Aran and Evan are getting an extreme makeover, with all-new and improved skill changes and fighting features! Many jobs will receive skill balances and updates as well.
- July - BLASTER: Nexon America will introduce a brand new class to MapleStory, giving players the ability to blow their enemies away with massive hand-cannons as they traverse through Acts 2 & 3 of this captivating storyline.
- August - DAMIEN: Maplers will have a devastating new boss to battle in their quest to save the world from complete destruction in Act 4 of the storyline.
To celebrate the launch of the update, if you sign up for the Heroes of Maple event and log into the game between June 22nd and July 15th, you will receive a Heroic Android Pack, which contains "an android that looks like Neinheart from FriendStory," a coupon for one of several cutout chairs, and more.
