The Latest MapleStory M Update Features A New Dungeon Boss, New Zones, And Class Changes

maplestory m pierre bannerNexon is celebrating the start of summer with a slew of new content and limited-time events for their MapleStory mobile spin-off, MapleStory M. The latest update features a new dungeon boss and new zones for players to explore.

“[Pierre is] the second dungeon boss in the Root Abyss Expedition unleashing different attacks based on his Red or Blue Pierre mode. Players who complete the Root Abyss Expedition will receive a special reward which grants additional equipment power and unlocks the Root Abyss exchange currency allowing them to buy exclusive Root Abyss equipment and buff items.”

The update also introduces a long list of balance changes for all nine classes and a level cap increase from 200 to 220. In addition, the developers will also be running a series of limited-time events the first of which is now live in the game.

According to the official press release, the Lotus Leaf Collection Event will run until July 1 and will allow players to collect lotus leaves from mobs which can be exchanged for various rewards and a special Cody item. The Lotus Leaf Collection Event will be proceeded by the Surprise M Attendance Sheet Event which will run from July 8th to July 27th, followed by the Rock, Paper, Scissors Mini-Event from July 15th to July 28th.

The dev team will also be rolling out special updates to celebrate the game’s 2nd anniversary next month. You can check out an overview of the update in the video below.
