The Weekly Raid: Would You Play Games In An Internet Cafe?

The other day the MMOs.com crew stumbled on a video of a pristine internet cafe in China and we asked ourselves, "Why have we never played games in an internet cafe?" I used to go to a kid's basement and LAN DOTA and play WoW, but I've never gamed in a public setting.

Part of the reason is obvious: there were no internet cafes near me. I didn't grow up in a city, and even in cities they're rare. Because around me, everyone had a powerful enough home computer to play games. We didn't need a business to supply computers.

But I wonder if we missed out on something. Maybe. Maybe not.
