theHunter's Whiterime Ridge Reserve Is Now Live

Realistic hunting simulation MMO theHunter's tenth reserve, the subartctic Whiterime Ridge, is now live. This new reserve takes players to a colder climate than ever before. Four new species of animal—Bison, Arctic Fox, Snowshoe Hare, and Sitka Deer—await players as they enter the vast, snowy reserve. Cold weather has also been implemented and will affect all players who enter the reserve. Due to this, a basic set of arctic winter clothing has been made available for free to all players in order to allow them to enjoy the reserve without paying extra.

Along with the new reserve, the game's graphics have been updated slightly. Normal maps, lighting, and shadows have all seen an upgrade. It's quite an improvement and adds to the realism of the game a great deal. Images of the improvements can be seen here.
