Throne And Liberty Is Now In Its Final Test Phase In South Korea

Throne and Liberty is finally close to launch after 12 years in development and a rebranding that transformed what was supposed to be a new Lineage game into a brand-new IP. The game is now on its final test phase in South Korea to make sure that everything is up to NCSoft’s standards ahead of its upcoming release in the region.

“The final test of the MMORPG Throne and Liberty with no less than 100 players, will start soon, and will last until February 22. In addition, a media test will also take place on February 23. Some information will be published in the next few days,” NCSoft tweeted.

The highly-awaited MMORPG is still on track for a western release in the first half of this year, and is expected to arrive this summer, as confirmed by NCSoft in its latest financial report last week. The studio, however, has yet to announce a western publisher.
