Oasis Games' first client-based PC game, Tiger Knight: Empire War, officially launched on Steam Early Access late last night. The title is reminiscent of Mount and Blade, featuring a combat system with horseback combat and directional attacking and blocking, with a dash of Bladestorm: Nightmare for good measure, allowing you to direct an army through the use of simple commands.

The progression system seems to be somewhat like that of World of Tanks, requiring players to research and purchase various weapons in order to unlock other weapons. Over 400 weapons and 400 pieces of armor are available in all.

The game includes several modes, including a PvP mode in which five players split into two factions engage in combat with upwards of 40 AI soldiers each. A Duel mode without AI Soldiers and a PvE mode called Epic War are also available.

Tiger Knight: Empire War is available now on Steam Early Access. It is a free-to-play game supported by a cash shop and VIP subscriptions that increase the amount of prestige and gold you get from each map.
