Total War: Arena Open Beta Launches Feb. 22

Creative Assembly's free-to-play Total War: Arena will open it's doors to all on February 22, so if you've been aching for the chance to play but missed your shot at the closed beta, now's your chance!

In order to prepare for the Open Beta, the servers for the closed beta will shut down on the 19th. When the servers become live again on the 22nd, the game will be open and available to all, and will introduce a new and 4th faction, Carthage. Two new commanders will be introduced along with the release of this faction.

For anyone who has been playing since the closed beta, any efforts you've made will be rewarded in the form of in-game goodies on launch. With the Immortals program the player will receive a myriad of prizes based on how many matches were won in their time spent in the closed beta. Anyone who has purchased in-game packs or gold will have these items restored to their accounts. Any progress made from Open Beta onwards will be kept.
